Frequencies - Quareness Series 114th "Lecture".
It seems us human beings are mostly made up of different forms of frequency. Indeed with so many different bands of frequency operating in everything we feel, hear, see, taste and touch around us, we might say that energy measuring effectively exists in everything. With matter and energy being interchangeable we can regard all things as holding matter with a frequency band to it or an energy band emitting from it. And maybe this is why different things are important to different people i.e. the moment something matters, it contains more energy and becomes important to you.
We can supposedly attract such energy frequencies to ourselves by raising our own frequency, thinking certain thoughts, eating certain foods, maintaining certain lifestyles, etc. Everything has energy and matter to it and therefore everything matters...some more to some people and some more to others...suggesting that where our energy frequency lies is what we attract in our existence. Think of magnets attracting metallic items but not other pieces of matter i.e. not everything is attracted. In other words only those things that matter to the magnet are attracted and stick to it. In the same way our existence may be based on what matters to us i.e. based upon the energy frequency we emit attracting likened energy frequencies back to us. This is how the universe works?
If consciousness can be regarded as the way we think, including our perspective on things or our attitude toward all the thoughts we process, perhaps we likely end up attracting whatever we think about and the way we think about it...a likened frequency match. In this view, raising our consciousness starts attracting the same conscious match in everything we do and as we begin to change our perspective, different things can start to show up for us in different ways.
Everything of matter appears to have its own energy field and when our individual energy field touches something it becomes interactive. And because everything for us may attract only those things that are vibrating at the same rate as our thought processes, we will tend to play in similar energy fields (work with the same broad energy frequencies) but without having the same experiences. Thus, on this earthly plane, everyone or everything of matter may have the capacity to be attracted to everyone or everything else based merely on where the vibration matches. And maybe this is how we base our daily decisions i.e. according to what we match within a certain frequency or attract in our vibration field? If so, we change what we don't like in our lives simply by altering the way we think...the different vibration will attract a different outcome. By the same token the longer we stay at an energy frequency in our existence, the more we attract back likened energy frequency...because it matches.
What occupies us mentally and physically must therefore affect our energy and frequency. Anything that comes from love is of high frequency and anything from fear of low frequency. In order to change anything in our lives, we may have to change our frequency. Learning how to create a new attitude towards all of our thoughts should result in a more expansive experience through feeling and seeing things differently. Do new things, be open-minded, create through love and our lives will change...helping us along on our personal journeys to becoming more refined in human experience.
Some of that refinement may derive from "healing" frequencies in sound e.g. Gregorian chant (in Church music) appears to have a measurable influence on human psychology and physiology. Some research suggests that the lowest heart rate and blood pressure of the day occur while singing these ancient compositions, with depression and fatigue alleviated at the same time. The basis of this ancient music...the six original Solfeggio (from the word “solfège” an old name for a particular notation method of teaching pitch and sight singing) notes...each have a "Hz" or "cycle per second" frequency which are slightly different from our modern contemporary musical scale frequencies ("concert pitch"). It's of interest that the Solfeggio Hz frequency numbers can all be reducible to one of 3, 6 and 9 (369 = 18 = 9, 417 = 12 = 3, 528 = 15 = 6, 639 = 18 = 9, 741 = 12 = 3, 852 = 15 = 6). As Nikola Tesla once said "If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have the key to the universe.”
In 1988 an American biochemist Glen Rein converted and recorded Solfeggio scale Gregorian chants to scalar audio waves and played the results to some test tubes containing DNA. By measuring UV light absorption, Rein could document the effect of the music on DNA. He found a marked increase of light absorption as compared with
other more standard forms of music, leading him to conclude that Solfeggio scale sound frequencies cause resonance in DNA and indeed may have healing properties. Later research in Japan and elsewhere has pointed to these frequencies having a positive effect on osteoporosis and on stress reduction in the endocrine system...with 528 Hz music having an especially strong stress-reducing effect.
In summary these Solfeggio sound frequencies are stated to have the following "healing" characteristics:
396 Hz - Releases Fear + Freedom from Guilt.
417 Hz - Eases and Initiates Change + Breaks Procrastination and Sluggishness.
528 Hz - Healing and DNA Repair + Extending Telomere Length.
639 Hz - Heals Relationships.
741 Hz - Finding Creative Expression and Solutions + Awakening of Soul.
852 Hz - Spiritual Homecoming + Connection to Divine.
The closest standard scale note frequencies are 392 Hz (G4), 415 Hz (Ab4), 523 Hz (C5), 659 Hz (E5), 740 Hz (F#5) and 880 Hz (A5) where the common c-d-e-f-g-a-b-c scale starts from "middle C" i.e. C4 and a 5 "label" denotes an octave higher. Most stringed instrument tuning in western music starts from the A4 note which has a standard pitch frequency of 440 Hz. Its "equivalent" Solfeggio frequency is 444 Hz said to have an impact on our lungs...and linked to "a secret chord that David played and it pleased the Lord" (from Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah").
It's possible (even likely?) that the most powerful sounds we can experience are the ones we create ourselves, and the simplest sound that everyone with a voice can and does make is humming. Through humming we may get to use our own voices as a tool of empowerment...learning to create and use the power of resonance to manifest harmony and balance. And we may thereby experience its positive benefits for health and happiness. In this regard various published medical and scientific studies have pointed to the following physiological benefits of humming:
- Increased oxygen in the cells enhancing health and wellness.
- Lowered blood pressure and heart rate.
- Increased lymphatic circulation clearing toxins from the body.
- Increased levels of melatonin...a hormone that enhances sleep.
- Reduced levels of stress related hormones enhancing health and wellness.
- Release of endorphins...self-created opiates that work as “natural pain relievers” and make us feel good.
- Increased levels of nitric oxide (NO)...a molecule associated with vasodilation and the promotion of healing.
- Release of oxytocin...the “love” hormone creating trust between us.
Vibro-acoustics are sounds that enter the body and vibrate us on a cellular level. All sounds that we hear have some vibro-acoustic ability, but those that are self-created appear to offer the best chance to create a kind of internal massage affecting our different glands, organs and bodily systems. And humming may be the most
powerful resonator of these.
Most people are prone to humming unconsciously...usually when they’re happy and feeling good. However, when we consciously hum we become aware of the resonance that the humming creates and its effect is amplified. It's been speculated that such conscious humming may be able to manifest neuro-genesis i.e. the creation of new connections in the brain. There are many anecdotal stories of stroke victims and people with post traumatic stress disorder who've been able to use humming to assist themselves and feel better.
When we hum we release endorphins and oxytocin and there may be a “feedback loop” that occurs when we do so. You hum when you feel good and you feel good when you hum...humming for happiness. In consciously humming we'll likely not only start feeling calm and relaxed, but we may begin to experience the healing ability of
our own sound. Olé.
With all in a state of vibration
We may truly consider it sound
To be well in our own situation
Breathing life into all that's around.
When our orchestra's playing in tune
That symphony of self if you please,
We can hope to stay well and not ruin
Our own health resonating with ease.
With any wrong move we might falter
When it all gets to sound so deranged,
We could hardly know how ever after
If our vibration hadn't been changed.
So play your own part in life's choir
Resonate with its harmonic sound,
And open your heart to soar higher
Vibrating for all that's around.
